[Classweb-users] A-Z without the "e.g."

When a list has A-Z without the "e.g.", are we to assume that the category
has to established before we can use it?
Example BL2020.S5
There is no .S5, but LC uses it consistently.
So is "e.g." tacitly here in this list?
