Corrections Concerning Class Web Appliction Form

Class Web Pilot Testers

A number of you have already contacted CDS regarding the application
forms for Classification Web.  I have two significant pieces of
information for you.

1. The date  application forms will be available has been moved back to
the week of May 6, 2002

Having had a large number of potential customers amenable to the
"click-through" license approach, the Class Web application form and the
end-user license are being modified to meet that need as well as the
standard hard-copy license approach.

2. The URL where ClassWeb application form and license agreement  will
be available is http://www.loc.gov/cds/ClassWeb_application.html . The
"html" portion of the address had inadvertently been left of on the
original product announcement.

We look for to hearing from you after May 6 and making Class Web
available to the library world.
