At D756.5.A-Z it says Individual campaigns, battles, etc., A-Z, e.g.

This was the former practice for topical numbers to give only a sample. See CSM F 350. There are many titles with the cutter .N6.

Subject: [Classweb-users] Call number for the Normandy invasion

Colleagues,

I'm cataloging a personal narrative of a gentleman who served on an Landing Craft Control boat during the Normandy invasion. He does talk a bit about other campaigns he served on but the focus is on Normandy. Doing a correlations search for World War, 1939-1945 -- Campaigns --France -- Normandy -- Personal narratives, American, I'm pointed to D756.5.N6 but there's no such number in classification. Has the call number changed or is missing number an oversight, does anyone know?
