Department of Labor and Manpower should be indented another notch under KEQ642-696 Labor law and maybe the name of the department should be updated. It has gone through many name changes and a switch to French. The current name seems to be Minist?re du Travail, de l'Emploi et de la Solidarit? sociale. http://www.mess.gouv.qc.ca/index_en.asp ------------------------------------------ John Hostage Senior Continuing Resources Cataloger Harvard Library--Information and Technical Services Langdell Hall 194 Harvard Law School Library Cambridge, MA 02138 hostage at law.harvard.edu +(1)(617) 495-3974 (voice) +(1)(617) 496-4409 (fax) ISNI 0000 0000 4028 0917 From hostage at law.harvard.edu Mon Jan 4 15:08:37 2016 From: hostage at law.harvard.edu (John Hostage) Date: Mon, 4 Jan 2016 20:08:37 +0000 Subject: [Classweb-users] Quebec labor law, pt. 2 Message-ID: <92E62DD27376AC4589256BCC3F29A94301203159@HLSANDMBX02.hlsmail.priv> KEQ670-684 Employment and dismissal Comparing this to the Gale printed schedule from 2011, the range should probably be KEQ670-672. Message-ID: <76eb0c1e55d947599d79793d374653e0@QBIEXCH.qbi.quality-books.com> I've recently been trying out the LC Name Headings searching/browsing feature in ClassWeb and have noticed that some established name headings are not among the results. Two examples of this appear below: I searched (Browse LC Name Headings and Search LC Name Headings) You choose books. Interactive doomsday adventure (established on SAR no2015097958 (entered 20150727)), but do not see it listed in ClassWeb. I searched (Browse LC Name Headings and Search LC Name Headings): Heath, Mary (Stress management consultant) (established on NAR no2015143072 (entered 20151026)), but do not see it listed in ClassWeb. #### Also, when attempting to use the Keyword boxes for "You choose books. Interactive doomsday adventure" or "Heath, Mary", I received a message ""*" cannot be used on its own"; removing the period or comma from the search string allowed it to bring back results (or to display "Your search did not match any records"). Yes, I've used the Slavic Funnel for subject proposals. I'll contact the coordinator for advice re: Cutter number proposal for a special topic. There is already a lcsh for Frus?ka Mountains (Serbia) sh 85052191, so all that is needed is the legit cutter PG1408.2 .F78 for this topic to show in the schedules.
