[Classweb-users] BR162.3

This number is correct. It is part of an arrangement of books about the early and medieval period. The books here are arranged by date of publication. One can write books after 2001 that are about early and medieval history of Christianity. CSM F 320 discusses the difference between classifying by time period covered and by date of publication.

BR145.3 is for works on the entire history of Christianity, not just the earlier period.

Subject: [Classweb-users] BR162.3

When I type in BR162.3 and browse, I get his caption:
Christianity-History-By period-Early and medieval-General
works-601--2001-
And yet as I read the schedule, the phrase Early and Medieval should not be there, I don't think. It is very confusing, since the way the actual schedule seems to imply that BR162.3 is where we put works published in the 21st centry about the history of Christianity.

Anyway, the class is not clear here. If I am right, what is the difference between BR162.3 and BR145.3?
