I am cataloging some digital maps by the United Nations of the area that was then known as Southern Sudan, but is now officially called South Sudan, or Republic of South Sudan.  Will the G schedule for maps will be amended to show South Sudan as G8315-G8319?

I have found the authority record for South Sudan, record #8907816, in the OCLC authority files.
