The "e.g." under K457.A-Z indicates that the schedule shows only a selective list, and that other entries may be interpolated.
In the case of title entries, only one Cutter number is used, with no further subarrangement except by date.

The schedule under K457 (natural law, general works), lists "By author or title, A-Z." When classifying a general work with no author or an author not already listed in the schedule, is it permissible to interpolate new entries?
Is only one cutter used in the case of "by title" entries?
