[Classweb-users] Subject and class number

The subdivision --Education is not used under any heading that includes the word "students" because the notion of education is inherent in the word "students." We are in the process of updating the Subject Headings Manual, H 1579, Education, to make this practice explicit. The string "Hispanic American students--Education" appears in Class Web because it was once erroneously assigned to an LC bibliographic record. That bibliographic record has been corrected.

Greetings-
This may or may not be the right forum to ask this question - but this is a list full of catalogers, so here goes. I want to use the LC subject heading Hispanic American students--Education, but cannot find an exact correlation for a call number. I can find one for Hispanic American children--Education. I am unclear as to why I can find the first subject string in Classification Web, but no call number is listed for it. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
