General works about race relations for African Americans for the post-1964 period class in E185.615. The most general number for U.S. race relations, covering all races and all time periods is E184.A1.

E185.61. Why is that class restricted to a time period? Why isn't there a
class for race relations General works, and then subdivided by time period?

If one goes to BT734.2, it tells you to go the specific country if that is
necessary. In this case it is; the book is a sociological study of suburban
churches' attitudes about race in the 1970s
