The form division tables that are used with the K schedules were standardized and simplified in 1999.  Part of this simplification process included the elimination of the decimal numbers that you cite.  The bibliographic records in the LC catalog that include those decimals in the call numbers were created prior to this simplification of the K tables.

Although the subdivisions .4, .6 etc are added to K3585 in the LC catalogue,
they do not appear as available divisions in Classweb(any browsers). Has
their use been discontinued or is Classweb just failing to display them?
