This appears to be a problem only for the United States and Great Britain, as those are the only two countries for which Table N3 provides a Special artists number. We've added see references to the schedule that will override those two table-generated numbers. The correction will appear with tomorrow's update to Class Web.

In the Hierarchy Browser:
Painting -- Mural painting and decoration -- Special regions or countries
ND2601-2877 breaks down by country using Table N3 modified, and there
are numbers given under each country for special artists. E.g., under
United States there is ND2639.A-Z Special artists, A-Z
However, below ND2601-2877 there is an instruction:
Special artists
see ND237-1113
If the instruction should override the generation of special artist
numbers under country using Table N3, it's confusing to have the
number presented under country as if it's valid for use. There is no
indication next to the generated number that it should not be used.
The instruction is easy to miss if someone is clicking away to get a
country number. There are some items classed with ND2639 already,
including two in the Library of Congress catalog.
Or are the special artist numbers in ND2601-2877 now valid?
