[Please excuse the duplication. This survey is being sent to multiple
cataloging discussion lists.]
If you are a cataloger at an institution that currently subscribes to
Classification Web, please consider filling out this survey.
The purpose of this survey is to expand on a local study conducted at the
University of Colorado at Boulder to ascertain how working catalogers use
(or do not use) Classification Web. The results of this local study were
published in LRTS (Vol. 50, No. 2) in April, 2006 and the findings from this
broader survey will also be summarized in a future article.
This study is being conducted independent of the Library of Congress, but
may prove to be of value to LC in considering possible future product
enhancements.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you DO NOT USE Classification Web, your participation
would be very much appreciated. Also, if you know of any other catalogers
at your institution who DO NOT USE Classification Web, even though it is
available to them, please consider forwarding this message on to them.
Feel free to contact me at anna.ferris at colorado.edu if you have any
questions regarding this survey.
If you are willing to participate, the survey will be available until
Wednesday, January 31, 2007, from the link provided below:
