The Library of Congress adds new classification numbers only as they are needed in cataloging new items being added to our collections.  Other libraries may propose new numbers through the SACO program.  For further information about this program see

Hello,

Would it be possible to add the same subdivisions to GV854.8 (Skiing) that
we found in GV1046 (Cycling) so we could be more specific for books about
skiing in a particular province?

Ex.: 	.x		General works
	.x2A-.x2Z	Local, A-Z
	.x3A-.x3Z	Individual tours, events, etc., A-Z
